It’s time to start thinking about the 2010 Reunions!
All alumni and guests are invited to Slifka Center during reunions. Meet current Hillel staff, catch up with old friends, enjoy the art exhibitions in the Rabinowitz Gallery and Heyman Commons. Attending one of the fall reunions for Yale’s graduate or professional schools? You are also welcome at Slifka Center for meals and events! Please call us, or just show up. FRIDAY
3:30 pm Exhibit & Open House. Come view our current art exhibition, talk with students about Jewish life at Yale, meet or reconnect with our Rabbis
6:00 pm Communal Candle Lighting with singing in preparation for the Sabbath
6:30–8:00 pm Shabbat Dinner
SATURDAY
9:00 am Orthodox Shabbat Service for Yale Alumni*
10:00 am Conservative/Egalitarian Shabbat Service for alumni and families*

12:30–2:00 pm Kiddush followed by Sabbath Lunch.
3:00 pm Afternoon Lecture and reception in the Allan and Leah Rabinowitz Gallery. May 29, Professor Charles Hill reflects on current events in the Middle East and the US relationship with Israel. June 5, Professor Robert Burt and Rabbi James Ponet offer a taste of their popular Yale Law School Course on the Book of Job.
4:00 pm Shabbat Yoga Service – no experience necessary, mats provided.
SUNDAY
9:30 am–12 noon Bagel Brunch. Join us for good company, bagels, lox, and all the traditional (and non-traditional) fixings. Bagel Brunch is now one of Slifka’s most popular events for current students – undergrecent alumni have been known to pine for years after graduation for our sumptuous spread of bagels, lox, schmears, cheesecakes and more.
Kosher Meals
Alumni who wish to have Kosher meals have several options. All reunion meals include vegan/vegetarian options (no special request required). For observant Kosher, some meals are offered at in Heyman Commons at the Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life at Yale, 80 Wall St. Please call (203) 432-1134 for details and reservations. Further accommodations (allergies, etc.) can be made by request.
