Oct. 21, 2009 - We are proud to announce that our 2009-2010 Artist-In-Residence Ilana Lapid '99 received the Best Short Film Award for her film Red Mesa at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, an Oscar(R) qualifiying film festival.  Read more about the award and Lapid's reactions here in the Las Cruces Sun-News.

Oct. 07, 2009 - Ilana Lapid's Red Mesa will make its West Coast Premiere at the 2009 Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival on Tuesday, October 13 at 8:00 p.m. at the Mann Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood.   Click here for more information about the festival and tickets.

Lapid is tentatively set to screen Red Mesa at Slifka Center on Tuesday November 10 at 7PM.

Oct. 07, 2009 - Due to cost-cutting procedures in Yale Dining Services, there has been a restructuring of how funds are transfered between the Kosher Kitchen and Yale Dining Services.  However, the food is still as good as ever, if not better due to the new input of our Vegetarian Chef Adam Heyman!

Feb. 25, 2009 - Yale Hillel, Chabad, and the Yale Chaplain's Office partnered to sponsor Shabbat 1000 - a gigantic and spirited affair that brought undergraduates, graduate students and alumni together for Shabbat dinner in Commons.
