Rabbi Lina Zerbarini

Lina Zerbarini strives to find the place of balance in the inherently unbalanced (read: life!).

As Director of Operations and Associate Rabbi at Slifka Center since 2002, her work includes facility and program coordination, guiding students on their own Jewish paths, support of educational, spiritual and social justice efforts (including teaching yoga and organizing the annual alternative spring break trip to Latin America).

As a college student, she thought French feminist psychoanalytic theory was going to change the world – the she moved to San Francisco and worked with homeless teens as an HIV prevention educator.  Since then, she’s strived to bring together the intellectual, spiritual and activist and has found many at Yale who value these and strive to bring them together in harmony.
